My wife and I had an amazing experience at this store. We came in to get a watch band fitted and got to speak with the owners and their dog Lulu. Amazing customer service and knowledge. You are not going to get this treatment at big name jewelry stores or less refined stores. Have already gone back to have some custom engraving done and would recommend to anyone in the area. This is how business should be done!

I love this jewelry store! They have such an excellent selection, reasonable prices and amazing, helpful staff. If you miss the Silver store that used to be in White Flint, this is the same owner, but the store is now much bigger and offers much more. Totally different look and feel. I had a few diamonds reset into a new ring. David very patiently looked at many designs with me, and helped me decide on the perfect setting. The work was done in a very reasonable time, and I had it before a big event I really wanted to wear it to.

My fiance and I came across the Jewelry Design Company in doing research for a jewelry store that would be able to make a customized wedding ring for me. I wanted something that would complement my engagement ring in look, size, and style. David was always very patient and a good listener as I described my vision. I dealt with several jewelers along the way and David was one of the most patient and understanding people I've met. As a visual person, I drew what I wanted on a piece of paper and David asked questions to make sure he was following along. Even though it took several times before David's jeweler got the design right, David would call me occasionally to report on the progress. The finished product turned out beautifully and I look forward to using David in the future for any custom jewelry needs.

David, the owner, sold me an engagement ring 27 years ago, and the wedding bands. Three years ago, we repeated the process. Then he sold one of my associates the same items, on my recommendation. I learned about David through wedding dress shopping with a few girlfriends at David's Bridal. He has a cute little store and even cuter pups that great you at the door. My fianc and I started researching rings about a year ago and visited a total of 5 different stores. Here's what you need to know about this place:

- David really listens to what you want and tries to see if there is a pre-existing setting so that you won't get charged the $750 fee for designing a custom ring.
- He's honest with you and tells you what will look good (I wanted a basket but needed a bigger center stone than we could afford), what is structurally sound (I wanted a delicate setting that only touched right under the stone without the sides touching), what will cause you to come back for frequent repairs and replacements (eternity bands)
- You can give him an overall budget and he'll work with you. He brought in 5 different stones of various sizes, colors, cuts, and clarity to show what we could get in our price range. They also carry second hand diamonds that offer you a bit more wiggle room.
- He knew I was picky and instead of rushing me, he made sure I was involved with every step of the process, much to my fianc's dismay, and made sure I was happy before proceeding.
- Within 1.5 months of almost weekly visits, we were able to sketch out the design, pick a diamond, have a drawing made, wax mold made, and ring made.
- The appraisal was included.
- No tax if you live in DC
- They give you the ring in a cute slender box which makes it easier to hide and propose with

Take aways: come here if you want someone who is honest, fair, and will give you a great deal. We've already referred at least 5 couples here and will definitely be going back to get our wedding bands made.
